Description: This is a fairly easy 6.6 mile hike along the lower portion of Pilot Mountain State Park. This trail undulates along Pilot Creek, throughout a diverse variety of vegetation. We will walk at a moderate pace to where the trail T's, near the campground amphitheater, and turn around here, so those of us that are interested can head on to Pilot Mountain Vineyards. Their website is www.pilotmtnvineyards.com where you can see what music will be playing there that day. Outside food is allowed. Address of the trailhead is 301-303 Boyd Nelson Rd, Pinnacle.
