Description: The hike will begin at 10:00 am in the backpacker parking lot of Stone Mountain State Park. We will take the MST to Wolf Rock Trail – hiking to Wolf Rock, Cedar Rock, then turning right on Blackjack Ridge Trail and hiking for approximately a mile before having lunch. We will hike around 7/10 of a mile in back-country and then do the 2-mile Horse Trail loop before backtracking to the Blackjack Trail and completing it. We will then backtrack on the Wolf Rock and MST Trails back to our cars. We should have great views from Wolf and Cedar Rocks. If anyone would like to carpool with me please let me know; in Greensboro we can meet at Fellowship Presbyterian Church 2005 New Garden Road and be ready to leave at 7:30 or in Winston Salem we can meet behind McDonalds at Jonestown exit on 421 and be ready to leave at 8 am.
