Description: Friday afternoon Drive to Erwin, NC and camp at Uncle Johnny's Hostel. Saturday shuttle ourselves to Iron Mountain Rd AT Trailhead and hike southbound 8 miles to Beauty Spot. Camp there overnight. Sunday hike 12 miles downhill into Ervin and drive home that day.
Required Gear:
Notes: This is designed to be a backpack-type hike but it is possible to leave a vehicle at Beauty Spot with camping gear for those who don't want to carry camping gear.
