Description: This is a scenic but strenuous hike in Doughton Park. We will start at Longbottom Road and hike Grassy Gap Fire Road, then climb to the ridge on the Primitive trai to the shelter (approxomate 2,200 ft climb in 2.8 miles). After an early lunch we will hike to the Bluffs for a scoop of ice cream or two. We then will hike the Bluffs towards Brinegar Cabin and then down the Cedar Ridge Trail to the car. 13.6 miles, elevation gain 3098 feet R41
