MST Connector/Stone Mountain

Description: Join me at Stone Mt State Park for the popular 10-mile, 2100-foot lollipop route using the Mountains-to-Sea Trail as the stick and much of the park's central trail network as the loop. We will hike from the backpacker’s lot up the MST two miles to the Stone Mt trail network. We then do a clockwise circuit down Wolf Rock trail; up Stone Mountain Loop Trail across the granite done, and down the steps by the falls and along the creek. We turn back up on Cedar Rock and Wolf Rock trails to the MST connector trail again and back to the cars. The views should be spectacular across the top. Bring lunch and water.
