Description: Let’s meet at 9:AM, in the parking lot of Westridge Shopping Center on Battleground Ave, in Greensboro. I will be parked in the parking lot of Sprouts Market, away from the store, in a blue Audi SUV. We will take a one hour drive to Anglers Park, 350 Northside Dr. , Danville. There we will ride a six mile stretch along the Dan River. There is an opportunity to get ice cream at the end of six miles. Then we turn around and go back to the parking lot where there is a nice, covered picnic shelter and restrooms. Bring lunch to have there, or l can tell you of restaurants in the area. Depending on the number of people attending, we can even ride across the river by bike, and eat at a nice sandwich shop called Links. The terrain is relatively flat, with only a couple of short inclines. There is an additional, hilly section for anyone who would like a challenge.
