Description: A favorite relatively close to GSO and WS. We’ll hike up the Indian Creek Trail up to the picnic shelter and take a break before proceeding up to Wolf Rock and a second break. We’ll then head back by coming down the Wolf Rock Trail, past the lake and the visitor center, and back down the Indian Creek Trail. Approximately 10+ miles and 1900 feet of elevation gain (R-29). Those wanting a shorter hike could turn around at the picnic area (Indian Creek Trail, 7.6 miles with 1200 feet of elevation gain, R-21).
