Pilot Mountain 8.4 or 13.3 mile hike

Description: I plan to lead a hike at Pilot Mountain State Park from the visitor center. (There will be two options, one hike around 8.4 miles in length and a hike of 13.3 miles). We will start out on the Grindstone Trail then hike the Pilot Creek Trail out and back for a hike a little less than 8.4 miles; for hikers who want to hike more we will turn right and continue on the Grindstone Trail, the Mountain Trail then Grassy Ridge Trail back to the visitor center; this will be somewhere around a 13.3 mile hike with an elevation gain around 1600 feet so please bring lunch for the long hike. Please contact me if you plan to go on this hike; let me know if you plan to meet me at Fellowship Presbyterian Church or the Pilot Mountain State Park visitor center. For hikers in the Greensboro area that would like to carpool and hike the long version you can carpool with me from Fellowship Presbyterian Church please meet me in the rear parking lot and be ready to leave at 7:45; the address is 2005 New Garden Road in Greensboro.
