Cone Manor Carriage Trails - 5 and 10 mile options

Description: Cone Manor is a very nice winter hike with wide trails and two different halves that are both scenic in their own way. Our outing will start at the mansion and hike the 5 mile loop to the Fire Tower and enjoy some excellent views from the top. We will then head back to the mansion for lunch. From there we will hike the 5 mile Bass Lake loop and finish up around 2 PM. If the parkway is closed we will begin at Bass Lake This is 10-mile round trip, approximately 1,000 feet of elevation gain. Rated [R-20]. Please let me know by 4 PM Friday 2/3 if you plan to go and if you would like to car pool. Car pools will leave from Carolina Diner by 7:30 and Jonestown Road by 7:45 AM
