Good afternoon fellow hikers,
We have 16 hikers tomorrow ready to brave minimal rain and some gusting winds. The weather forecast calls for showers to end around noon, with new precipitation between 0.1 and 0.25 of an inch, so most likely not a slog. Bring appropriate rain gear, along with the obligatory snacks, and good humor.
That said, here is the plan:
Meeting at Carolina’s Diner a little before 8 to depart at 8am..

I would like to begin hiking at 9am. As stated in my description, we will ascend Grindstone and walk around the Pinnacle, then return to the via Mountain trail. This will allow for a shorter option (returning to VC via Grindstone—8 miles) if anyone wishes to shorten their hike.
