Description: This beautiful 7.5 mile out-and-back hike follows the shores of Lake Townsend for the most part. Wide views of the lake are visible, as well as views of smaller inlets and fingers of the lake. Let’s meet in the Osprey Trail’s parking lot, which is located in the 4900 block of Yanceyville Road. Coming from downtown Greensboro (going north), the parking lot is about ¼-mile on the left past the Reedy Fork Baptist Church. [R-9]
