Description: We will be staying at Moonshine Creek Campground, Balsam, NC near Sylva. This is perhaps our 10th year there. Check their website for availability or you may stay at other local accommodations. On Saturday, we will paddle 2 sections of the Tuckasegee River; the first is appropriate for novice and the 2nd part in the gorge is more difficult. Saturday evening is an outing to Frog Level Brewery in Waynesville for music and dinner. On Sunday, we will travel to the Nantahala and you can raft with a guide, rubber duckie or paddle your own kayak in a more demanding beautiful small river. Some folks join us just to enjoy the campground and hike the local trails. Contact me to advise if you are interested and to get your name on the list. I’m happy to answer any questions
