Description: I plan to lead an easy hike at Haw River State Park at 1 P.M.; the park address is 6068 North Church Street. This hike is 7 miles long the way I plan to lead it which will be an out and back. Any one that would like to hike less can do the 3.8 mile version which will be the Great Blue Heron Loop which is 3.2 miles long and the connector trail that is 0.3 miles each way. There is no need to contact me to go on this hike. Note: traveling north on Church Street you will cross HWY 150 at a traffic light and drive approximately 1.3 miles, then turn right onto Iron Ore Belt Access Road. And drive to the end where the parking lot is located.
