Description: The leaves will be off in Morrow Mountain State Park allowing us to hike to crisply clear views of the rolling Piedmont, Uwharrie Mountains, and the rivers and lake between. This 1400-foot elevation hike starting from the park office at 9:00 AM will begin with the Hattaway Mountain 3.1 mile loop, then back past the visitors center to the Morrow Mountain Trail. We will have lunch at the summit then return to the park office finishing before 2 PM.
