Description: From the Pinnacle Hotel Road parking lot at 8:30 a.m. we will hike the Corridor Trail, then go left on Mountain Trail, then right on GrindstoneTrail to ascend to the bathrooms on the top. We’ll go clockwise round Pilot Knob Trail with lunch along the way. We’ll return to Grindstone to descend to Mountain Trail and then right on the Corridor Trail to return to our parking lot. The route is approximately 9 miles long with 1700 feet of elevation gain. [R 26], but may be amended if there are large crowds on the Pilot Knob Trail.
