Tour de Wolf Rock - Feb 4, ‘23 (21)

Led by the incomparable Nicole Mazgaj and Vance Barron, we set out on this 11 mile lollipop loop all around the Stone Mountain area - we passed through the back way by the backpacker’s parking lot and hiked up Wolf Rock then down Black Jack Ridge to an old bridle trail where we pushed on and passed by an old still before making our way by the waterfalls and up the mountain again, creating a perfect lollipop loop.
The air was rare and the company was so good. We had a truly beautiful day. Until today, I held the boast for being the youngest member of PHOC - but today, we welcomed Ms. Olivia Williams to the group. At 28, she has taken that title from me, and I don’t mind. While discussing our birthdays with her and Eric Smielewski, the three of us discovered that our birthdays are sequentially March, April and May so we have dubbed ourselves “The Spring Babies.”
