Boone Fork and Rough Ridge

Description: Please join me in doing two very popular short hikes combining for a moderate day of hiking. We will start the day at Julian Price Park on the BRP and hike the 5 1/2 mile Boone Fork Loop Trail . This is a picturesque creek side hike featuring large boulders, creek crossings, and a couple of easy ladders. There is nothing difficult on this hike. We will then drive south on the BRP for about 7 miles to hike the 3 mile (total) out and back Rough Ridge Hike. This hike offers outstanding long range views with approximately 850 ft of elevation gain. I am capping this hike at 15 hikers, including myself. We will carpool from Carolina Diner and the MacDonalds at the Jonestown exit off 421 in W/S. Please email for meeting times.
