Description: Please join me for a hike in Haw River SP on the Great Blue Heron Loop trail (two times). The gentle slopes and picturesque scenery provide a great tree-lined walk in the woods. Hope to finish by 11:30. Travel N on Church St. crossing highway 150 at the traffic light. Continue on for another mile or so and turn right at park entrance, Iron Ore belt access. There is a nice size parking lot at end of road.
