Description: Please join us for a relaxing camping and biking weekend on the High Bridge Trail in Virginia. The trail is a 30+ mile Rails-to-Trails pathway stretching from Pamplin to near Burkeville with Farmville as a halfway hub. Our plan is to use Farmville as the starting and stopping point for out and back rides on Saturday and Sunday. This is a recreational ride going at your own pace and distance. We will be camping at the Twin Lakes State Park campground for Friday and Saturday nights. The Twin Lakes campground is about a 15-minute drive to the trail. Hotel accommodation can be found in Farmville for those not interested in camping. A group meal at a local restaurant will be planned for Saturday evening. Day participants are also welcome.
