Description: Many club members enjoy this hike with its wide, gently graded carriage trails. Half of the hike travels from Cone Manor up to the Flat Top Lookout Fire Tower and back to Cone Manor where we will have a lunch break. The second half of the hike circles Bass Lake down along the carriage trails and back up to Cone Manor. Each section is approximately five miles in length. If you do not want to do all ten miles, you can do half and then visit the Manor House and Craft Center. For those who want to do the entire hike, there will still be an opportunity for a brief tour of the Manor House and visit to the Craft Center after the hike. An optional trip to Kilwin’s for ice cream at the nearby Tanger Outlets will be available. Please register by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024. 5 miles, 500 feet [R-10] or 10 miles, 1,000 feet.
