Description: Alligator Back Overlook (mp 242 BRP) to Brenegar Cabin ( mp238.5) out and back. 9:30 AM start. 10 miles. R-26. 1200ft elevation . Please join me for a beautiful hike on the MST wandering along the BRP at Doughton Park, NC. This is a hike over the Bluffs, along open fields of grasses and wildflowers, and a good workout but not overly demanding. Lunch will be at Brenegar Cabin. Please call or email for any questions or problems. Please check your directions. The road closure at the NC highway 21 at the BRP may still be in place.
