Description: Let’s hike at the Knight Brown Preserve. The original 3 trails come to 3.3 miles. The 189-acre Preserve features a wooded valley with two gently rippling streams that feed into Belews Creek just before it flows into the Dan River. We can also hike the two new trails, which will bring the total to around 5 miles. There are a few short climbs, ferns, fungi, wildflowers and a variety of trees. The trailhead can be found at: 221 Waterfield Ln, Stokesdale, NC 27357 (R-12)
