Description: This strenuous 12-mile loop hike includes four different wilderness environments; meadows, rocky peaks, wooded mountain sides and the Wilson Creek area that’s full of blooming rhododendrons, plus, we will hike through Rhododendron Gap. We will also experience the wild ponies of Grayson Highlands. Eight miles of this hike will be on the AT. There is a $7.00 per car parking fee. 12 miles, 1800 ft elevation gain. [R-32 due to rocky trail conditions
