Smith River Paddle and Camping Trip

Description: This is a padding and camping trip less than an hour and a half from Greensboro . After breakfast Saturday we will lead a 6-mile paddle on the Smith River water levels and weather permitting (Some paddling experience is required). Or you can stay at camp, fish or paddle on your own. (Fishing licenses required). We plan to have a group meal Saturday night (TBD). Sunday we’ll break camp and for those that are interested, paddle on Lake Philpot. Camping reservations are made online at www.recreation.gov , click on Camping & Lodging.
