Description: Scott Ridge Backcountry Stone Mountain State Park Priscilla Trentham 336-399-3435 ptrentham01@gmail.com The hike will start from the Backpackers’ parking lot at Stone Mountain State Park and will ascend via the MST to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will continue on the MST to the unmarked trail that desends on Scott Ridge to the camping area of Stone Mountain State Park and thence back to the parking lot. Register online by noon the day before the hike if you plan to go. 11 miles, 2800 ft elev. [R-40]
