Description: Morrow Mountain State Park will allow crisply clear views of the rolling Piedmont, Uwharrie Mountains, and the rivers and lake between. This 1400-foot elevation hike starting from the park office at 9:00 a.m. will start with the Hattaway Mountain 3.1 mile loop, then back past the visitors center to the Morrow Mountain Trail. We will have lunch at the summit then return to the park office.
