Description: This is a scenic but strenuous hike in Doughton Park. We will start at Longbottom Road and hike Grassy Gap Fire Road for 1.5 miles, then climb to the ridge on the Bluff Ridge Primitive Trail to the shelter (approximate 2370 ft climb in 2.8 miles). We will have an early lunch at the shelter. We will hike Bluff Mountain Trail towards Brinegar Cabin and then down the Cedar Ridge Trail to the cars. 12.8 miles, 3040ft elev. [R-39]
