Description: This 5-7 mile hike will follow the Grindstone and Ledge Spring trails to the pinnacle parking area overlook, circle around on Pilot Knob Trail (optional) and then back down the Grindstone trail. This hike is rated difficult due to the relatively steep grade (the pinnacle is 1,400 foot above the surrounding terrain). The exact route and mileage depends on where we start, how we're feeling, and the weather. Bring snacks, water and layers. RSVP for exact meeting location.
