Description: Description: Please join me for a delightful, late spring Sunday paddle around Salem Lake in Winston-Salem, NC. This lake is usually teeming with wildlife and glistening, emerald waters. We will put in at the beach near the marina office and complete a loop around the lake, with the option of exploring some of the other avenues it offers beneath the bridge. You may bring your own kayak and put in for a fee of $4.00 or rent a kayak from the lake for $4.00/hr. Bring lunch, sunscreen, personal flotation device, and plenty of water with you and please be prepared for a moderately-paced paddle.
