Description: Let’s try to beat the heat on Sunday morning for a local easy hike at Haw River State Park. This is a lollipop loop consisting of a 3.6 mile loop with a .4 mile connector. We will hike the loop twice, so those wishing to walk a shorter distance can opt out of the second round. Don’t forget the bug spray and plenty of cold water for our muggy, buggy August days.
