Description: This hike has been changed from what was initially published in the Trailmarker. I have moved it from the Uwharries to Stone Mountain. Buyer beware: it will be a less demanding hike, in the upper range of moderate rather than strenuous. We will hike in the southwest corner of the park on familiar trails, with one unmarked section, organized in a different pattern. There will be no stream crossings, and the ascents and descents will be gentle.
