Description: On Saturday February 14th I plan to lead a hike on the Bald Eagle Trail off Hamburg Mill Road in Greensboro beginning at 9:30 AM. This is a 7 mile lollipop loop that should finish up by 12:15 PM. Lets meet in the small lot on the south side of Hamburg Mill Road just past the Lake Higgins Marina entrance (the address for the marina is 4237 Hamburg Mill Road). Take Battleground Road north past Walmart, the 840 Loop and along Lake Brandt. Immediately after passing Lake Brandt be in the left lane and turn left from a protected turn on to Hamburg Mill Road. Follow for about ½ mile and the lot will be on your left just after the entrance to Lake Higgins Marina. If you would like to park where there is plenty of room, drive in to the marina and park in the lot and walk over to the trail head.
