Caraway Creek Preserve and Lunch at The Table

Description: Come hike a 3-4 series of loops on the Caraway Creek Nature Preserve near Asheboro. Much of the hike is rolling terrain through the forest. There are wetlands, a restored barn, an old well and perhaps trillium blooming. There is a large 100 year old dam that you will see. Those interested will head to lunch after the hike at The Table, 139 S. Church St., Ashe- boro, about a 10 minute ride from the trail. This is a unique place for breakfast and lunch and very popular with folks from all over. Check out their menu. They have great coffees and pastries too. Meet at trailhead at 8:30. text if you are running late. Give yourself ample time as your GPS can take you a delightful way with lots of turns and potential to get lost. Call if you are running late.
