Description: Join me for a vigorous hike at Rock Castle Gorge. Our hike begins with a long, steep wooded ascent to an open pasture, and up to the old AT shelter above the BRP for lunch. We continue through meadows until we drop back into the gorge where we will hike through a field of boulders. After further descent, we will hike creekside to return to the parking area. Parking is limited. Final details and carpooling information will be sent to those registered. For experienced hikers only. 11.2 miles, 2,600 ft elev, {R-42}
