Description: Out and back hike. Beginning at the visitors center, we will hike the Indian Creek Trail to the Dan River, and also hike the Riverbluffs (loop) Trail. We'll stop for lunch along the river providing opportunity to jump in to cool off for anyone so inclined. End of June it will be hot and the hike out is up hill, bring plenty of drinking water. Hiking poles *highly* recommended for rocky stream crossings. It's a nice hike along a stream mostly shaded with some beautiful rock outcrops along the way. A good workout ;)
Required Gear: Hiking Poles, Water Bottles, snack/lunch, towel (optional)
