Description: We will be hiking the R.M. Collins Trail to Tory's Den. This is a newer trail located about 3 miles on Moores Spring Road from the main park road. We will meet at the Trail Center Parking Lot at 2075 Moore's Spring Road. The entrance to the parking area is to the right of Vade Mecum entrance. The hike will be 5.3 miles round trip with 840 feet elevation difference. This is a wonderfully shaded hiking trail with many varieties of ferns. Since part of this hike will take place on private land with an easement, no dogs are allowed on this trail.
