Description: Cape Hatteras National Seashore Road Trip Oregon Inlet Campground near Oregon Inlet Fishing Center June 21st 3:00p Set up. Check out Beach, 600ft walk. Sunset... Food and Drink at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. 2 mile walk or drive. June 22nd Beach Sunrise....Coffee, Oatmeal Raisin 10:00a Meet up at Jockeys Ridge State Park, Hike to Ridge top 2-mile roundtrip. Possible Kite Flying, Sand Boarding, Hike to Kitty Hawk Kites (in sight from Dunes) Intro to Paddle Boarding (I have a 4-person paddle board/ 800 lbs. capacity) Put in the sound at the south entrance. Take out and Grocery Stores in this area. Sunset at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center June 23 Beach Sunrise, Coffee 10:00a Meet up at Pea Island Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. Make the short walk to the observation deck. Afternoon Beach across the street or at Campground. Surf tubing 101, I will have 4 tubes. June 24th Beach Sunrise, Coffee 10:00a Meet up at Festival Park parking lot in Manteo and walk the waterfront. I will have my 4-person Paddle board and split the group and meet up near the end of the boardwalk, then switch. Group Choice lunch. Also nearby, The lost Colony Park, Historic Fort Raleigh, and The Elizabethan Gardens $. June 25th, Beach Sunrise, coffee Group Choice. Bodie Island Lighthouse (fee to go up), Coquina Beach, Lifesaving Station, Bonner Bridge. June 26th Pack up and go This Campground has warm showers like on M*A*S*H. There is a good deli at Publix in Nags Head, but Food lion is more affordable for bulk items. I will be wearing swim trucks under my clothes with a quick dry shirt at all times. The weather can be fierce. Hot with no shade, very windy and buggy at times. I try to keep a deli meat/cheese sub in the cooler for snacks. Walmart is in Manteo. Text me for my site number.
