Description: Join us at the Alligator Back Overlook mile post 242.4 Blue Ridge Parkway for an out and back hike to Brenegar Cabin, we will climb the stairs up to Bluff Mountain, cross the Bluffs and beautiful meadows, wind through the woods to Brenegar, have lunch, and then return. A start time of 8:30 AM will hopefully help us avoid the main heat of the day. This hike is not overly demanding but presents one of my favorites in terms of fantastic views. Ride sharing will be from Carolina Diner for the Greensboro folks, and from the Jonestown McDonald’s for the Winston area folks.
