Description: Let’s take a leisurely paddle on Lake Brandt on a Sunday afternoon . If you don’t have a kayak or standing paddle board, you can rent one from the Marina office. They have 12 solo kayaks, :$15.00, 10 tandems: $25.00, and 10 standard boards :$15.00. There is a launch fee of $6.00, but if you are willing to tell them that you are over 60, they will take $1.00 off the fee. Meet at the marina by 1:00 in order to get on the water by 1:30. Since paddling at this time of the year is very popular, I suggest that if you plan to rent the equipment, that you get there early. Even though I am planning on a two hour paddle, the marina is open till 8:00pm. However, everyone has to be off the water by 7:30.
Required Gear: PDF, tow line, water, snacks, sun glasses, hat.
