Naturalist Week at New River Trail State Park in Virginia

Description: Come for the day or camp overnight. There is also a lodge onsite if you don’t want to camp. There is a different activity each day led by experts in the field. See the Virginia State Parks New River Trail website under events Naturalist Week for details. I plan to camp at the campground at Foster Falls at least a couple nights. We could eat out one night in Wytheville. Bring a bike or rent one if you like as the campground is next to the rail trail. Depending on the water level boating/tubing also available. If camping reserve your site on the Virginia State Parks website.
Required Gear: If you are camping you will need to bring all your camping gear.
