Description: This hike is an out and back and is a total of 5.5 miles in length. Anyone who would like to hike more can cross the Lake Brandt Road and hike Reedy Fork Trail. There are areas with roots, so hikers might want to bring poles for better balance. Bring plenty of water. Leashed dogs are welcome Please meet me at the Piedmont Trailhead on Lake Brandt Road and be ready to hike at 8:30 a.m. Directions: The Piedmont Trail parking lot will be on your left going north on Lake Brandt Road approximately 0.3 of a mile from the Lake Brandt Marina entrance.
Required Gear: Poles are recommended but not required.
