Description: This is a two-night hike from Carver's Gap to U.S. Highway 19E along the Appalachian Trail in the Roan Highlands. The hike crosses several balds and Hump Mountain. Campsites will be near Grassy Ridge Bald on the first night and at Doll Flats on the second night. The hike will utilize the shuttle service from Mountain Harbour, at a cost of $10 to $15 per person so that all hikers can hike together, end to end. All participants should register no later than October.
