Description: Please join me for an early morning hike on Saturday, September 5 at Salem Lake. Be ready to begin walking at 7:30 AM. We will meet in the parking lot at 226 Linville Road. This 7-mile loop has beautiful views of the lake. The terrain is mostly flat with minor elevation, R-8 per PHOC website. Those who prefer a shorter hike may double back at any point during the hike. We will go counterclockwise around the lake. If any of you that want to come later, then simply walk clockwise to join us for our remaining hike. If you prefer to bike, that's ok also! Leashed dogs and guests ok. Bring plenty of water and electrolytes if needed. Directions: 226 Linville Road From Greensboro take Salem Parkway Rt. 421N towards Winston-Salem. Get off at Linville Road exit 228. Take a right onto Linville Road. In ¾ mi turn right into the Linville Road Parking lot for the Salem Lake Trail
