Description: We will start at the Jamestown Golf Course parking lot across from E. Fork Road (7041 East Fork Road). Will will cross the road and use Bicentennial Greenway to access the Deep River Trail along High Point Lake. We will do the whole trail, returning to the golf course on the greenway. The hike is easy and very scenic. The Environmental Center hosts very large pine trees that are maintained by periodic burning of the understory. This is the only example of regular prescribed burns in Guilford County.
