Today, I climbed the most remarkable peak east of the Mississippi with the most remarkable group of people. 12 miles out and back at 3694ft, I embraced the challenge of Mt. Mitchell and marked it off my “To-Hike” list.
Among one of the most strenuous hikes that I have done, this felt like a milestone in my physical fitness development and I gotta say, I feel really proud. I’ve given Debby’s group the nickname of “The Wolves of PHOC” and today, I’m humbled and honored to have been one of them.
